AISSMS College of Pharmacy Receives Best Active College of the Year Award at MAHA APTICON 2025

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) [India], March 13: AISSMS College of Pharmacy has been honored with the Best Active College of the Year Award; by the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) – Maharashtra State at MAHA APTICON 2025 on 15 February. The award recognizes the institution’s exemplary contributions to pharmacy education, research, and administration. This honor was conferred by Dr. Montukumar Patel, President of the Pharmacy Council of India.

The college has played a significant role in advancing pharmaceutical education, with faculty members actively contributing to the SPPU Board of Studies, regulatory bodies, and research evaluation panels. It has also organized numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and research-oriented events in collaboration with MSAPTI and other reputed organizations.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ashwini Madgulkar said, “This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of our students and faculty and the unwavering support of Hon. Secretary Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati. It inspires us to continue striving for excellence in pharmacy education and research. We are constantly working to help students grow in the field of pharmacy and set new milestones in research. In the coming years, we will keep introducing new ideas and pushing boundaries to take pharmacy education to new heights.”

The award was presented to Dr. Ashwini Madgulkar, Principal, AISSMS COP, by Dr. Montukumar Patel, President of the Pharmacy Council of India, Prof. Dr. Vilas Sapkal, Vice- Chancellor of MGM University, and the National and State Presidents and Vice Presidents of APTI also attended the ceremony.
