Commenting on the achievement, Dr. Hiren Patel, Principal, SCET, said, “We are delighted with this outstanding achievement by our student. An off-campus offer of ₹64 lakh per annum is a testimony to the quality, confidence and industry-readiness of our students. At SCET, we continuously strive to provide students with the right blend of technical education, professional skills and industry exposure to help them excel in a competitive environment.”
The achievement also reflects SCET’s continued emphasis on industry readiness, professional skills and career development. SCET also places strong emphasis on industrial exposure and internships. During 2024–25, students participated in industrial visits involving 1,464 student-days. Across 2022–2025, the institute recorded 2,583 undergraduate internship engagements across various engineering disciplines.
Prof. Shabbir Ghadiali, I/c Head, Training & Placements, SCET, said, “The ₹64 lakh PPO secured by Piyush is a proud moment for SCET. Our T&P initiatives focus not only on campus placements but also on preparing students to identify and compete for opportunities across the industry, including off-campus opportunities. Regular training in aptitude, communication, interview skills, career planning and industry interaction helps students build the confidence and competence required to succeed.”
The ₹64 lakh annual PPO secured through an off-campus opportunity is a proud achievement for the student and SCET, and reflects the institute’s sustained efforts towards developing industry-ready engineers and professionals across all disciplines.
