Scholarship instituted for girls in the memory of Shri Nileshbhai Patel

March 30, 2022

Shri Nileshbhai Patel Girl Child Scholarship is a joint initiative of NK Proteins and Karma Foundation

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], March 30: NK Proteins and Karma Foundation have jointly instituted the Shri Nileshbhai Patel Girl Child Scholarship in the memory of noted businessman and philanthropist Late Shri Nileshbhai Patel.

The scholarship is aimed to provide financial support to meritorious but needy girl students in an endeavour to help them create a bright future by pursuing higher education. Girls, who have lost their father in the Covid-19 pandemic, are also eligible for the scholarship.

“Shri Nileshbhai Patel Girl Child Scholarship is a humble attempt to continue Nileshbhai Patel’s philosophy of giving back to society and what better way than to do so by supporting the education of the girl child,” said Priyanshi Patel, Founder Karma Foundation.

A bright academic track record, strong work ethic, and family income of less than Rs. 1 lakh a year are among the conditions for the applicants seeking scholarships. An internal committee will review the applications received and select the beneficiaries for the scholarship.

“We had commenced the scholarship in March 2021, but we are now institutionalising it so that we can extend financial support to the maximum number of needy and meritorious girl students. This would be a fitting tribute to Late Shri Nileshbhai Patel,” said Kamlesh Patel, Director, NK Proteins Ltd.

The applicants will be required to submit various personal and family details on the link http://www.nileshkpatel.com/scholarship.html  to apply for the scholarship. The last date for submitting the application is April 30, 2022. Any questions with regards to the scholarship can be sent to scholarship@nkproteins.com .
