The corridors of White Lotus International School came alive with rhythm and melody as the school hosted its much-anticipated Solo Singing Competition — a vibrant celebration of musical talent, stage presence, and youthful confidence.
The event was thoughtfully divided into three categories — Pre-Primary, Primary, and Middle School — providing a stage for students across age groups to express themselves through the universal language of music. From endearing nursery rhymes and devotional hymns to soulful classical renditions and energetic popular hits, the auditorium was filled with applause, admiration, and musical delight.
The Pre-Primary performers enchanted the audience with their innocence, energy, and fearless enthusiasm. Their cheerful voices brought instant smiles and warmth to everyone present. Primary school participants showcased growing vocal strength and a budding sense of musicality, while the Middle School students captivated the crowd with their command over pitch, rhythm, and expression — delivering performances that were both powerful and emotionally moving.
Adding prestige and expertise to the occasion was Mr. Rakesh Gopalbhai Danej, a renowned international artist, one of Gujarat’s most celebrated singers, and a veteran of over 27 years in the music industry. As the event’s esteemed judge, Mr. Danej not only evaluated the performances but also uplifted the young performers with insightful feedback, heartfelt appreciation, and inspiring words that will echo in their hearts for years to come.
The event was gracefully led under the guidance of our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Purvika Solanki, whose unwavering support and commitment to holistic development continually nurture the school’s vibrant learning atmosphere. In her encouraging address, she highlighted the role of performing arts in building confidence, creativity, and character, and congratulated all the participants, teachers, and parents for making the event a grand success.
