The Annual Sports Day of New Model Public English School, located at Mansarovar Society, near SMC Lake, Dindoli, Surat, was successfully organized on 7th and 8th January on the school playground. The objective of the event was to promote physical fitness, discipline, and team spirit among students.
On this occasion, one of the school’s devoted parents, Mr. Bharat Suthar, graced the event as the Chief Guest. The active participation of parents further added dignity and enthusiasm to the program.
The program commenced with the hoisting of the flag, followed by a march past, torch lighting, and oath-taking ceremony. On the same occasion, the school trustee, Mr. Chandradev Gupta Sir, and the Principal, Mr. Janardan Rana Sir, delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the importance of sports and emphasizing their vital role in shaping a bright future for students.
Students from all classes enthusiastically participated in various sports activities such as Kabaddi, Cricket, Kho-Kho, Running, Relay Race, Obstacle Race, Shot Put, Discus Throw, and Musical Chair. The active participation of girl students was especially commendable.
In the sports competitions, Team Ayushman emerged victorious in the Boys’ Kabaddi event, while Team Nandini secured first place in the Girls’ Kabaddi event. Students also showcased excellent performances in Long Jump and Cricket, bringing pride to the school.
The Sports Day was successfully conducted with the dedicated efforts of all teachers. The smooth management of the event was made possible by the special contributions of Supervisor Mahesh Sir, Rajni Madam, and Pratima Madam, along with David Sir, Venkatesh Sir, Ajay Sir, Dheeraj Sir, Shilpa Madam, Chhaya Madam, Kapila Madam, Sneha Madam, and Mausam Rai Madam. Their coordination and hard work ensured that all events were conducted in a disciplined and organized manner.
The program concluded with the prize distribution ceremony and a vote of thanks.
