Surat: White Lotus International School organized an awareness seminar on Child Protection, Child Awareness and Child Mental Health with the objective of sensitizing students about their safety, rights and emotional wellbeing. The program aimed to create a secure environment where children feel confident to express themselves and seek help whenever required.
The session was conducted by ASI Vaishaliben Devre, Ms. Penalben Radadiya, and Mr. Rahulbhai. The speakers explained important topics such as personal safety, good touch and bad touch, POCSO awareness, child helpline numbers, legal assistance and the importance of talking to trusted adults during difficult situations. Students were also guided on how to recognize unsafe situations and respond wisely without fear.
Special emphasis was laid on mental health awareness. Students were encouraged to share their feelings, manage stress and understand that asking for help is a sign of strength. The session also highlighted that timely guidance and awareness can prevent many problems and build self-confidence among children.

The seminar was highly interactive, with students enthusiastically participating through questions and discussions. Teachers appreciated the practical examples shared during the session, which helped students understand sensitive topics in a simple and age-appropriate manner.
