Surat: Continuing its efforts towards education and a brighter future for young students, Piyushbhai Desai and Hiraba Nu Khamkar Foundation have launched another significant initiative in the field of education.
As part of the programme, the Foundation has distributed computers to more than 100 students from Surat city and nearby areas. The initiative has been designed to help students become more connected with technology and use digital tools for education, skill development and future employment opportunities.
Speaking about the initiative, Piyushbhai Desai said, “In today’s world, computers have become an important part of education. Our commitment is to ensure that no boy or girl in Gujarat is deprived of digital learning because of financial limitations.”
Foundation Sets Goal to Distribute 5,100 Computers Across Gujarat
After beginning the initiative in Surat, Hiraba Nu Khamkar Foundation now plans to expand the programme across Gujarat. The Foundation has set a target of distributing 5,100 computers to deserving and currently studying students across the state in the coming period.
The campaign will also focus on reaching students in rural and remote areas, ensuring that access to digital learning tools is not limited only to urban centres.
The larger vision of Piyushbhai Desai and Hiraba Nu Khamkar Foundation is clear: “Whether a boy or a girl, no student should be left behind in education, and no child should remain deprived of technology.”
Through this initiative, the Foundation aims to contribute towards building a more educated, empowered and digitally connected Gujarat. It plans to continue expanding its educational and social-service activities on a wider scale in the future.
