Surat: S. R. Luthra Institute of Management, a constituent institution of Sarvajanik University and managed by Sarvajanik Education Society, organized the national-level intercollegiate competition “Stractical – The Startup Battle” for the eleventh consecutive year on 07/02/2026. The final round of the competition was judged by Dr. Anil Saraogi, Founder of Saraogi Legal & IPR Services, who graced the event as the esteemed judge.
The program commenced with a welcome address by the Director of S. R. Luthra Institute of Management, Prof. Dr. Jimmy M. Kapadia. The President of Sarvajanik University, Mr. Ashish Vakil, presided over the event and shared inspiring examples of several startups that began on a small scale and later achieved remarkable success. The event was further honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Kiran Pandya, Provost of Sarvajanik University, as the Guest of Honour, and CA Yatish Parekh, Chairman’s Representative of S. R. Luthra Institute of Management, both of whom delivered insightful and motivating addresses.
A total of 17 teams from across the country participated in the competition. After the preliminary round, 9 teams qualified for the final round. During the competition, participants received 20 days of expert mentoring from industry professionals Mr. Ashish Sukhadiya, Mr. Abhinav Sharma, Mr. Sunny Kabarawala, Ms. Purva Varnamiya, and Ms. Nishma Singhal.
