Sarvajanik University, established by the Sarvajanik Education Society, celebrated its successful five-year journey throughout the month of June with a series of academic, social, and community-oriented initiatives. The celebrations reflected the University’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, social responsibility, and holistic development.
Under the guidance of President Shri Ashish Vakil, the University organized academic deliberations, Open Table discussions, scholarship distribution, tree plantation drives, blood donation camps, and the inauguration of the Sarvajanik College of Liberal Arts. The celebrations also featured thought-provoking lectures, interactive dialogues, and community engagement activities.
The month-long celebrations concluded with a special Gratitude Ceremony dedicated to the University’s donors and former Presidents. The programme was chaired by Padma Shri Yazdi Karanjia and attended by eminent donors including Dr. Farukbhai, Shri Sevantibhai, Shri Girishbhai, Shri Pankajbhai, Shri Kirtibhai, the Kikani family, Shri Ketanbhai, and several other benefactors and their representatives, who appreciated the University’s remarkable progress and its contribution to society.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Farukbhai appreciated the University’s contribution to the education sector and assured continued support from the KP Group. Shri Sevantibhai emphasized the importance of educational and healthcare institutions in nation-building and acknowledged the invaluable role of philanthropic donors. Shri Girishbhai highlighted the immense opportunities before Society and stressed the importance of dynamic young leadership for future growth. Shri Pankajbhai fondly recalled his long-standing association with the Society and conveyed his blessings.
Representing the first donor trust of SCET College, Shri Kirtibhai travelled from Mumbai to extend his congratulations. On behalf of the former Presidents, Shri R. G. Shah appreciated the University’s gesture of expressing gratitude towards its donors, describing it as a reflection of institutional values and accountability.
The programme was attended by Vice President Shri Dinkarray, Vice Chairman Dr. Kishorbhai, and Shri Ajitbhai, members of the Managing Committee, Principals, faculty members, and staff.
