Surat: Reinforcing its commitment to holistic education and experiential learning, White Lotus International School organised an engaging and colourful “Soupy & Juicy Day” for its preschool students. The event transformed the school campus into a lively garden of colours, creativity, and healthy living, as little learners arrived dressed as their favourite fruits and vegetables.
The celebration was designed to introduce children to the importance of nutritious eating habits in a fun and memorable way. From bright red apples, cheerful carrots, juicy watermelons, mangoes, bananas, grapes, pumpkins, and many more, every child confidently showcased their costume while sharing a few lines about the fruit or vegetable they represented. Their innocence, enthusiasm, and confidence filled the campus with smiles and applause.
The classrooms came alive with interactive learning activities, storytelling sessions, healthy food discussions, rhymes, and engaging conversations about the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables. Teachers encouraged students to identify different fruits and vegetables, recognise their colours, understand their health benefits, and develop positive eating habits from an early age. The event beautifully combined education with enjoyment, making learning meaningful and enjoyable.
Parents enthusiastically supported the initiative by helping their children prepare creative costumes, reflecting the strong partnership between home and school in nurturing healthy lifestyles and positive values. The colourful participation of every child made the celebration truly memorable and highlighted the importance of involving families in early childhood learning experiences.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mrs. Purvika Solanki said,
“At White Lotus International School, we believe that education extends far beyond textbooks. Every activity is thoughtfully designed to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and lifelong values. ‘Soupy & Juicy Day’ was not merely a dress-up activity; it was an opportunity to encourage healthy eating habits, build communication skills, enhance creativity, and help children understand the importance of making nutritious choices from an early age. When learning is joyful and experiential, children naturally develop habits that stay with them for life.”
She further added,
“Our vision is to nurture well-rounded individuals by integrating academics with life skills, creativity, and value-based education. Activities like these strengthen children’s confidence, social interaction, imagination, and awareness while making every day at school a joyful learning experience.”
The event concluded with happy faces, colourful memories, and an inspiring message that healthy habits begin in childhood. The laughter and excitement witnessed throughout the day reflected the school’s philosophy of creating an environment where every child learns through exploration, participation, and celebration.
White Lotus International School continues to set benchmarks in providing holistic, child-centric education through innovative programmes that promote academic excellence alongside physical, emotional, social, and moral development. By organising engaging experiential activities such as ‘Soupy & Juicy Day,’ the school continues to inspire young learners to embrace healthy lifestyles while growing into confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals.
