60% of the mall’s income to be dedicated to social service, including medical assistance for underprivileged patients and a vision to establish a Seven-Star Hospital
Surat: The NG brand has made a fresh comeback in the city with the grand opening of NG Mall. The mall was inaugurated by Paridhi Goyal, daughter of industrialist Sudhir Shyamlal Goyal, who cut the ceremonial ribbon. After being the subject of discussion for several months, NG Mall has now officially opened its doors to shoppers.
Sudhir Goyal said that NG Mall is not just a conventional shopping centre but a modern retail destination offering a wide range of lifestyle and fashion-related products under one roof. Currently, the mall features sections for home décor, home furnishing, Indo-Western apparel, jewellery, artificial jewellery, and lehengas. Some products will also be available on rent in addition to purchase. Several new sections are planned to be launched over the next three months.
Humanitarian Initiatives Through ‘NG Seva Trust’
Sudhir Goyal stated that the new project is owned 60% by him and 40% by his wife. The entire income generated from their ownership stake will be dedicated to social welfare activities. For this purpose, the ‘NG Seva Trust’ has been established. The profits generated from the mall will be channelled through the trust for the welfare of people in need.
He said that initially, the trust will support patients at Surat Civil Hospital and SMIMER Hospital who are unable to afford medical treatment due to financial constraints. If a patient requires treatment but does not have a government health card or any other form of assistance, the trust will bear the treatment expenses.

Commitment to Build a Seven-Star Hospital Within Two Years
Sudhir Goyal said that the trust’s biggest dream is to establish a state-of-the-art seven-star hospital within the next two years. Vesu and the Parvat Patiya–Model Town area are currently being considered as the preferred locations for the project.
According to him, the first five floors of the hospital will provide advanced paid healthcare services, while the sixth and seventh floors will offer completely free treatment and medicines to underprivileged and needy patients. No special card or documentation will be required to avail these services.
A Fresh Beginning After Four Years
The NG Lehenga brand, launched in 2021, had quickly gained popularity in Surat. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and various restrictions affected the business. During this period, Sudhir Goyal remained actively involved in social initiatives.
Now, with a renewed vision and a strong commitment to social service, he has returned to expand the NG brand once again. He expressed confidence that, with divine blessings, new outlets will be launched every two to three months and the NG brand will establish a global presence.
Special Gift for the First 2,000 Women Visitors
A special offer was also announced for women on the opening day. The first 2,000 women visitors who generate a bill at the counter and register their name, mobile number, and email address will receive a complimentary gift.
With the launch of NG Mall, Surat has gained not only a new shopping destination but also an inspiring initiative that combines business with social responsibility.
